Food Banks Canada
The organization was established in 1989 and supports more than 3,000 food banks across the country. The main goals of FBC include:
- Raise food and finances to share with network banks

- Use advocacy and research to influence government policy
In 2020, FBC distributed more than 28 million pounds of food to more than 600 food banks. In lieu of the Covid-19 pandemic, the organization raised $121 million of their $150 million goal to support the thousands of banks in the network. Monetary donations are welcome.
